Que. Can the society take a decision to ban members from having pets? Can they also charge extra maintenance to members having pets at their home?

Society cannot take a decision to ban members having pets. The society cannot charge extra maintenance from having pets at their home. Rules can be made regarding cleanliness responsibility if pets litter in common areas of the society premises, etc. Issue regarding pets has also been addressed in one of the Society Now Echo publication.
